The LA-309N is a low cost general purpose furnace for dental production applications.
Nitrogen process atmosphere is controlled much like a clean room: pressurized nitrogen gas
is pushed through the heating chamber insulation providing a preheated,
laminar flow for a uniform, stable atmosphere.
Precise temperature is maintained by control thermocouples above the belt
in each zone quickly sensing changing conditions.
IR quartz heating lamps inside the chamber instantaneously adjust their output
to achieve tight temperature control:
each load through the furnace sees the same temperature.

Computer Controlled. The furnace is operated via ProControl software installed
on a robust managed platform RAID1 furnace computer.
The process engineer can easily vary process parameters using the sophisticated PID
and power control parameters in the software.
An almost infinite number of recipes and profiles can be labeled and stored
for ready access on the furnace computer.
The software includes 2 levels of password protected control (Engineer and Operator)
and logs each change in recipe load or furnace state useful
for troubleshooting product and process performance.

The furnace software operates on a Microsoft Windows 7 Professional computer system.
The program and all settings and recipes are stored on the RAID1
dual mirrored redundant hard drives.
The computer is complete with 17″ LCD 1280×1024 high resolution color graphic screen,
full size keyboard/mouse interface and both Ethernet and wireless-N
high-speed network connections to facilitate view and control of the furnace
by managers and process engineers from any location.
The furnace includes four (4) local USB ports
(two at entrance and two on the LCD monitor at the control panel)
for connecting profilers and jump drive storage devices.

Laboratory and Production Applications.
The LA-309N is an efficient tool for many dental production and laboratory uses.
With its tight temperature control and nitrogen controlled atmosphere,
it can process substrates, wafers, metal, ceramic, glass,
or polycarbonate parts for dental bonding, epoxy
and polymer curing, thick film firing, ceramic bonding, as well as titanium and porcelain veneering, general thermal processing and metal brazing,
annealing, tempering and sintering applications.

Its performance characteristics are ideal for laboratory work or production applications
where consistency and repeatability are important.

Rapid startup and response to recipe changes make it uniquely qualified
for development work and applications where a number of processes are run.

Our new “P” series replaces the computer control system with high quality discrete digital controllers
for cost-effective precision control on repetitive production applications.
These furnaces are a good solution in applications where process recipes are changed infrequently
and auxiliaries are at a minimum.
